King Pin style pedestals and bases have been found in fishing boats over the last 25 years. The narrow King Pin base is used on applications where attaching points are closer together than a conventional King Pin base. King Pin pedestals are rated Class B by ABYC which means that they are designed for occupancy only at boat speeds not exceeding 5mph.
